I recently booked a hotel room for my mom at The Leela Palace New Delhi directly through their website. It offered the best rate compared to sites like MakeMyTrip, where I could have paid upfront with my card.
However, on The Leela's site, the only option was to put a card on file – it's showing as "Pay at Property." I'd really prefer to pay for the room online beforehand (ideally to hit an Amex milestone spend, but that's secondary). My mom isn't keen on having an add-on card.
Is it possible they could send me a payment link or process a payment remotely before her check-in? Any advice on how to best approach this with the hotel?
