SC recently launched EaseMyTrip CC with annual fee and renewal fee of Rs. 350 + GST which has good travel benefits.

10% discount isn't great. Every card these days is offering 15% discount. I spend some time and manage to get 20% discount also.
Does the 10x points and 10% discount combine? If yes, what is 10x in terms of rupees?

Just checked 10x not applicable on easemytrip, so they can't be combined as well.

I currently hold SC Platinum it is as useless as tits on a bull. Thinking of upgrading it to EaseMyTrip variant as at least 10% discount would be assured via it.

You can upgrade it because with a difference of Rs. 100 in annual fee, you will get lounge access on this card.

Yep, seriously considering an upgrade for this card, not because of the lounge access (I already have them on my other cards) but because of the discounts on EaseMyTrip, also it would allow me to offer some business to Stand C as the current useless platinum card keeps on depriving them with my spendings.
