Do we get 5% cashback when paying society maintenance through SBI cashback credit card? My society uses the Adda application for payment of maintenance.

If its through a online gateway, it should. I think you should give it a try and let others know.

It is through an online gateway but they charge a 2.5% convenience fee for credit cards so wanted to be sure if I will get 5% CB. If they treat maintenance similar to rent payment then there is also a possibility of no CB for the transaction.
Can you do payment in splits? like try 100rs to be sure if cashback is credited or not.

Just made the payment in full from SBI Cashback card on Adda and i didnt receive any cashback. Made a loss because of this experiment. Hope it helps others. Please don’t make payment on Adda through SBI cashback card. I would assume same should apply for other society apps like Mygate.
The mcc generally for society maintenance is utility (4900) or something. Atleast this is the case for Nobrokerhood app. So these MCCs are excluded from any cashback in most cashback cards.
