Hi,
I have Ltf Tata neu plus and LTF Swiggy card. I want to get core card ltf/fyf. Should I close both or closing only Tata Neu will work, I don't need it anymore as other cards are available for UPI.
Hesitant to close swiggy usage is low but 10% flat is lucrative.
If I clsoe swiggy can I again get Swiggy card ltf later ?
What is waiting period to apply for core cards after closing these cards

Go through this thread, it has the info you required.

Try to apply through Paytm to get the core (Freedom) credit card from HDFC, and if you get approved, later you can upgrade the card after using it for 6 months or 1 year if you don't want to close the current co-branded card you hold.

You have to think rationally.
1. First see what is your annual spend on hdfc is it more than 10lakhs?
2. Is your itr greater than 20 lakh ?
3. Are you a avid traveller?
4. Have you bought a few lakhs of various Vouchers for your spends?

If most of the questions answer are yes then you need infinia or dcb etc. otherwise you don't need.

Core card for future upgrade offer's?
Who knows future?
In two years whole credit card industries have changed upside down. All the greatest card have fallen down if not became dust.
In five years what will happen who knows and no one need to get prepared for the changes by taking all bank core cards.

You have two good cards. Good cards more over both of them are LTF. Enjoy man. Have fun.

And if you are interested in points and miles and card fees seems viable for your spending patterns, close both the cards- Welcome to the turmoil.
