Shocking Decrease in SBI's credit Limit!!

Hey folks, do yourself a favor and take a peek at your credit limit in SBI cards. You might be in for a rude awakening, like I was. They slashed my limit to such a low amount, I can barely afford a bag of peanuts. Literally. 🥜😂

The bank can decrease the limit if they find a customer's profile risky. We can't fight this step of SBI card, but we can request SBI Card to reevaluate our profile and check if they can restore the old credit limit.

So it's advised that everyone who is affected by this step emails SBI Card and requests a reevaluation.

If they reject your request, I'm afraid there is nothing more we can do.

Mine is still the same... 2.75L... it could be technical issue in your case ..

i notice one thing my last billed as 22 july - 28997 then my total limit 29k

already have 58000 outstanding and showing 18k as negative

Same here... My limit on one card is reduced from 4L to 2.55L. Other card limit is same

Don't think they will reduce mine as limits were already reduced to 60k for BPCL and 40k for Prime respectively during COVID times despite decent spends on both. But with SBI you never know 😂

Mine reduced from 2.5L for 2 cards aggregate down to 25k aggregate 🥹

Wow, sbi cards really knows how to make us feel special. They slashed our limits like a hot knife through butter. Now we’re all equally broke and miserable. Maybe we should just dump them and find a better partner. Any suggestions? 😜

Around 25k in around 10-11 months.c all legitimate spends..no hanky panky stuff

My cashback card I spend 10l so far and made a good profit till 5% existed for all online purchases
Now I am ok even if they close the account lol

Both my SBI card limits are intact, but fortunately, I was issued the SBI CB Card with a very high limit of 20k. Probably SBI couldn't dare to go any lower than that. 🤣
