Shifting from Axis Burgundy to HSBC Premier

Currently I have Axis Burgundy salary account for last half a year. Axis burgundy debit card is good with its BOGO BMS benefits but haven’t used it much honestly. For movies I already use sapphiro and epm, which is usually enough.

Axis Burgundy may have some future benefits, Idk, like they once gave ltf M4B credit cards.

Hsbc premier has the following benefits:
1. US hsbc premier account; not sure what I will use it for as of now.
2. Hsbc premier cc: bogo bms tkts, 3%(?) on excluded spends and amazing joining benefits (taj epicure and 12k taj pts).

However, the redemption options on hsbc premier cc are very limited and may give less than 3% net reward rate.

Should I shift to hsbc premier? Is it worth the hassle because I will have to convert the axis Burgundy salary account to normal savings.

PS: I already have epm and dcb. So hsbc premier will not be my primary credit card.

Basis my very limited research, One differentiating factor I came across was that the salary account holder can open HSBC accounts/cards in other countries easily and there was also waivers/discounts on using HSBC ATMS overseas. perhaps they use Indian credit history too for issuing overseas Credit card (not sure).......

+ following this thread.

I read in another thread that If you have HSBC premier in another country and open one in India, you don't get any benefits/previleges of the actual premier account here in India. Forex rate and other stuff will be as normal account.
To get full fledged benefit we neec to maintain 40L TRV.
So in a reverse scenario -- where you are opening a Premier account in another country, I am not sure if it still is like that. If yes, it is bad.

My personal experience - that will happen ONLY if your Premier RM will support you.
In reality, the RM will make you a hostage, and push you to buy high commission products you don't even want.
I can even travel to that country and open bank account there in person within the cost these guys want to pay in commissions.

Yes a good move

Hope hsbc premier no minimum balance due to salary credit

I have a HSBC premier through salary and am very satisfied with the product (Infinia holder),

Salary account is zero balance.
Premier credit card gives points for all transaction types except fuel. Limit of 1 Lakh for rent + education + Govt.
Premier credit card is LTF (joining fee is covered by joining benefits) as long as Premier is maintained.
Premier credit card points are even for partial spends in multiple of 150. So, 3 transactions of 50 rupees will get the 5 points which is not the case with most other cards.

Yes Amex gives such split for reward points
Rest of the Indian banks are not doing this

How do you pay rent using hsbc premier?

HSBC has two type of accounts for my company. one is premier , which requires 3L salary
other one is platinum debit card variant.. I am eligible for this.
Agent told me that 5% cashback offer is applicable for Platinum card as well.
Does it work for CC bill payment? which app should we use to pay cc bills using this debit card?
