Scapia card got rejected

Riyon

TF Buzz
Hi,

I'm holding a Federal Bank Imperio 2.60 lac credit card.

I got the card in September 2024.

Now I came to know that Federal Bank allows users to have two cards, so I applied for a Scapia card but it was rejected.

I sent an email requesting reconsideration, but they said I've reached my maximum permissible limit.

What should I do to get this card after 90 days?

My total credit card limit is 31 lac.

I mostly have cards from all banks..

Credit cards, personal loans, student loans, and lines of credit are common types of unsecured credit products.
Based on Bank's email, i suggest you to lower down your monthly spend based on your income (do not use 100% of credit limit) as multiple credit cards from same bank share same credit limit. As recommended by bank, control your credit card utlliization smartly for 3 months and re-apply.

My total credit utilization is 3-4% max and im also holding one home loan near 24lac value remaining.

This is their default reply for rejection reasons. I have a CELESTA card with a limit of 6.21L (3 years old) and I barely use the card, mostly for card-based discounts. I have almost 80L overall limits for cards, utilisation never crosses 5-6%, no default or late payment, a 10-12 years old credit history, and a CIBIL Score of 790. Still, they reject the card (SCAPIA). I guess they approve on the basis of a SHOLEY'S coin flip.

People with CELESTA cards are rejected by default. Havent come across a single celesta holder being able to get scapia. i have also been rejected for scapia and I have celesta.
