SBI PRAGATI RuPay JCB Platinum Debit Card | Free 1 year Amazon Prime, Swiggy One, MakeMyTrip, Bookmyshow Offer

In international online transactions, it doesn't work on all websites, even if they accept JCB.
Secondly, this card is still not working on all domestic websites – its BIN hasn't been enabled across all payment gateways yet. It might take up to a year to function properly, as SBI is very slow.
Lastly, there are also many issues from SBI's side.
Did you forget that years-old SBI RuPay JCB Platinum Debit Cards are still being treated as credit cards by many online merchants? Therefore, I don't think this RuPay JCB BIN debit card issue will be resolved. They shouldn't have launched the debit card on JCB Discover would have been a better option.

I know, but that's not a big issue. The problem is only with credit card bill payment through Mobikwik, right?

There are alternative apps available like Paytm, Billdesk, Freecharge, PhonePe, etc.

For shopping on Amazon, it's working fine with instant discount (SBI Just need to enable Pragati card BIN on SBI offers) — what else do you need? Besides, there's no real benefit in loading wallets or paying bills directly using a debit card on Amazon.

I was planning to use this card for international ATM withdrawals during my travels in Southeast Asian countries. However, since it's not even working on foreign websites, I'm not sure how likely it is to work at foreign ATMs. I'm starting to doubt whether it will be useful to me.

Issue ko solve nahi karana hai bas bahane bnana hai?

Mobikwik, Paytm and Freecharge dono par credit card treat kar raha.

Flipkart to payment hi nahi allow kar raha.

For those asking whether this card works for international transactions – I don’t think it does.
I tried using it on Lazada (which recognizes it as a JCB card while typing), but the payment doesn’t go through. I also tried it on the Google Play Store – Philippines. Lazada supports all major cards including JCB, Visa, Mastercard, and UnionPay, so it seems like the issue is on SBI’s end.
As for cash withdrawals abroad, I haven’t been able to test that – I’d need to fly out just to check if it works, lol. So I can’t comment on that part yet.
Tried it today in Thailand for a POS transaction. DID NOT WORK.

Tried to add it to Bolt App for booking Taxi. DID NOT WORK.
