Devaluation SBI IRCTC Premier Devalued

I have upgraded my SBI IRCTC platinum card to premier variant in April.

However since I have started booking tickets with premier card, I am receiving the same 4% and 10% variable reward points. However IRCTC Premier is supposed to give 10% throughout the year.

On raising this issue with SBI, their nodal officer is saying even the IRCTC Premier card gives 4 and 10% variable reward points.

What's the point of having an upgraded card then? This is a silent devaluation or a scam being pulled by SBI.

Is there any solution?

It gives 10%. Your account is not upgraded yet I think. Ask them to do so. SBI need to pay IRCTC more in order to upgrade your account. They didn't pay most likely. Contact IRCTC loyalty once.

SBI Nodal officer and customer service head are adamant in replies that both cards have same reward structure. Pathetic experience.

Reward points are same for both Platinum and Premier. Please mark the word 'UPTO' 10%.
