Sbi dc TXN failed due to insufficient balance

Hi Team,

Incase of ecom pos txn like cc bill payment using sbi DC and if our account has insufficient balance then they charge around 23rs.

So does bank need to pay interchange for cards for failed txns too wrt insufficient balance?

If not so does all bank charge this ?

Have faced multiple transaction failure with SBI DC for insufficient balance haven't been charged anything extra ever.

So no issues with SBI atleast. Rest others can comment

Was it Ecom pos or offline pos?

Yes they charge 20 or 21 + GST for failed txn due to low balance. Experienced this, really stupid though.

I don't think they have to pay anything for failed txn's.

Tried to pay CC bill in unipay using DC without having balance

INSUFFICIENT BAL POS DECLINE
CHARGE

Yes, majority of the bank charge this. Clearly mentioned in their MITC as well.

I see others have mentioned it's charged. Even for me I faced same scenario. How come u where not charged

It takes few days to reflect n not immediately
