SBI Credit card limit

Hi Folks,

A few days back I have applied for SBI credit card. Later I got a message like this "Dear Applicant, thank you for applying for SBI Credit Card. Your Application No. Xxxxxxx is being processed with tentative credit limit ranging between Rs. 12000 and Rs. 15000, subject to verification of your application. You can track your application status at https://sbicard.com - SBI Card"

Does it mean the credit limit offered by SBI Cards is ranged between 12k to 15k? Or is it going to be increased after KYC with good figure. I didn't touch the kyc part as I don't have clarity on the credit limit part. If it is true that sbi offered such low limit I don't even want to go ahead and do the kyc. Please clarify my doubt thank you.

Yes

No.

You can increase limit after 6 month but that also not guaranteed as all depends on your credit review.

That's a rough estimate based on your credit profile.

If all the information is accurate and as expected, yes, the limit would be in that range.

If there's some misinformation and your salary/credit score feels higher than what the system has estimated then you would get a higher limit.

I know people with 10K limits as well so it's not surprising, it can always be increased by using the card frequently and making timely payments.

Hi friends,
Since I don't have the privilege to create existing thread, posting my query in relatively similar thread.
Currently my SBI Elite card's limit is 1.82L. Since more than a month, pre-approved offer of credit limit enhancement is showing for up to 5.4L. But every time I applied (almost 14-15 times), it's showing fulfilment date of 18 days later. More surprisingly every time those were rejected (though pre-approved) without mentioning any reason. This is the mail for today's request.
