SBI Ckyc registration

My mother who is a senior citizen has Sbi savings account. She has already completed her Kyc two weeks ago submitting an offline form with passport size photo & other details.She wanted to invest some money into mutual funds but when I am trying to make the investment no ckyc error is being shown. I contacted customer care they said to visit branch & meet the service manager & complete Ckyc. On 30th july 2025 she went again & the service manager told that kyc is in order & ckyc is done. Rest she has to do it online. I didnt understand the last line. It has been over a week & I went to the ckycr website & input the phone number to get the ckycr card but “No data found” error is showing. If someone who has any idea will be very helpful. Thanks in advance.
 
All banks want to just screw customers. Just raise a complaint in sbi portal against branch and their branch mgr will personally solve it for you.

You are trying with same mobile number that is registered in SBI account ?
Have you got any SMS previously about the ckyc registration or ID ?
Have you checked in the net banking/app the c k y c number ?

I had a torrid time opening the SBI Yono for her. She was told what she will do using online feature. Finally I went to the bank applied for the debit card & completed it.


In Sbi Internet Banking ckyc dropdown is blank.

Ans1- Yes I am trying the same number linked to the same account.

Ans2- No sms yet

Ans3- No number shown in Sbi IB.

Already did. After that met the service manager. Rest as the post says.
There is only vkyc, ckyc, and ikyc. In Ckyc the bank can fetch existing kyc details from Ckyc register and completes the process with aadhar details. If branch still doesn't help follow escalation matrix. Ask branch to give in writing the requirements.

She submitted adhaar number, along with phone number, bank account number & passport size photo.

I tried both last month. Stuck at no records found. Hope ckyc is updated. Will try again. Thanks for the link

As you submitted on 30th, practically one week is enough in general.
But we don't know exactly who is on the fault, or it's been processed or not yet !!
Moreover your ckyc record is only needed for MF registration., as your KYC record is being updated in the system.

I am submitting a service request stating that the service manager told kyc is complete but I will have to do ckyc myself but according to rules

Financial institutions like banks, mutual fund houses, insurance companies, and pension fund providers register customers' KYC details with the Central KYC Records Registry (CKYCRR). These institutions, regulated by RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, and PFRDA, are responsible for collecting and uploading customer KYC information to the CKYCRR
