Sbi cash back applicability..

I have a sbi cash back card.. but I see I don't get 5% cashback for all online transactions.. and there doesn't seem to be a way to get transaction level point statement.. any pointers on which online transactions don't get 5% cash back

That's the point... I don't know as I don't have a transaction wise view of the points and the call center was of no help

Cashback gets updated every two days/at payment settlement so unless you have done many small transactions in one day or haven't checked in a while it's easy to figure out by tallying your spends through transaction summary vis-a-vis cashback credited.

Exactly.. just note down last cash back amount and just do maths 1%+4%, easily gets figured out what amount of cashback that transaction has availed.

Online utility payments we get 1%
And sometimes when used in hp pay no cb offered since it’s fuel mcc

I used my SBI CB card for Tirupati tickets booking. I got only 1% cashback which I was supposed to get 5%. Today I had to pay college fee of Rs 86k. I didn't go with SBI CB card because of uncertainty. Instead I paid from another card. SBI CB CC is uncertain. SBI has fixed their own categories.

If tagged MCC belongs to Utility, then TDS is Utility for SBI.
