As far as I know there's no actual cooling period when it comes to SBI cards.

My friend's application for a higher variant card got declined two days back. On my advise to apply for a lower variant card today, he said the application went in and is waiting for an update from their side.

After raising RBI complaint, Nodal Officer said 6 months after rejection date.
Where as most customer care agents mentioned 1 month after rejection date.
