Hi, I had applied for SBI Simplyclick via Agent, and It is approved and got virtual card. But now continuously getting calls from SBI-CPP department, saying calling from Card Protection and You might have opted for CPP.

Agent never told me this and I never opted it. It is forcefully applied on my behalf, will they charge me in credit card statement or there will be other process and I need not worry as they cannot deduct money without my consent?

How do I know if they have applied card protection plan on my SBI Vistara card. I recently got my new card.
But I keep getting calls regarding card protection plan from SBI.
Is there a way to check if CPP is forcefully applied on someone's card ?

you'll be charged for it. and they cannot add it without your consent so keep saying no, after a month or so they'll stop calling

Applied for Cashback card , card is approved and also showing in app but not yet dispatched. Getting calls daily for CPP, i pickup thinking it might be some kind of verification call but it turns out to be call regarding CPP, Is it okay to not pickup these calls. Can SBI still reject my card application if i miss these call or say NO to CPP ?

No they will not reject. Just reply them that you don't think you need CPP plan currently.

I recently applied for the SBI Cashback Credit Card. An agent called me and said I had opted for the CPP plan and ticked the checkbox, and he started explaining the plan. I told him at least five times that I did not opt for it—I clearly remember unchecking both the insurance and CPP options while submitting the application.

How can I check if CPP has been enabled for my card? Will it show up on the SBI Card website?

If it is enabled, how can I cancel it?
  1. Can I cancel it after card activation as well?
  2. Or should I contact SBI Customer Care before activating the card and get a confirmation over email?
