So i have a account in hdfc , icici.
Icici - very mininal use 10k - zero balance account hence no maintenance or big amount there
Hdfc 5k account . Have 20k cc from them 6 month old
So if i get salary 40k approx from a Proprietorship current account ( hdfc) .. current account is on name of company not individual..
Which will trigger better offer and cc .

I would suggest HDFC, having salary account there will enable you to get better limits or cards in the future.

I think you should go for hdfc. Do daily transaction with cc. And dc . After one year when your cc limit is high enough apply C2C for icici credit card

They ask for the 1st statement and last statement during application.

The last statement should be atleast 12th statement or later.
