Safest way of tracking credit cards payments due date

I transfer that headache to HDFC by adding ALL CC BILLS and ALL OTHER BILLS in their Smart BillPay option. Selected DC option - so that 1% cashback is accrued.

They pull all details of all these bills, queue them up, pay each of them exactly 4 days before the due date, and send email n SMS at each stage.

I let them do this laborious and boring job. And, in the process, give me 1% CB. Taking revenge for not giving me their own CC.

By any chance have you missed any payment by this method? Many users on TF are having such issue.. mostly with SBI CC …

All hdfc debit cards if used give one percent cashback?
What's the process?
I have been paying credit card bills via traditional methods of net banking

You need to have SB MAX type of SB account (MAB - 25K) which comes with such a DC. There are a couple of other DCs too which give CB. Go to the nearby branch n talk to them.

I maintain an excel sheet in my PC, where the due date cell has colour codes...!!
Just a day before due date the date cell colour changes to blue, on the due date it changes to green & after due date it becomes red !!

It's simple formula based application of excel...can be created using Google search!!

Only issue is that it doesn't work in mobile...
And what reminds you to check that excel? 😝

I need reminder notifications for such things. I’ll totally forget having to look at an excel at regular basis.
If you are not bothered about cashback/discount on CC bill payment, the easiest would be to create a post dated payment (3 days before due date) in your Bank's net banking the moment you receive the bill. Had done that for years, before I got addicted to cashback/discount offers on cc bill payments
