I’ve been facing an issue with my RuPay UPI Credit Cards for the past 4–5 days. A few days ago, I used one of my RuPay credit cards quite heavily for genuine transactions with a single merchant. Since then, I’ve been encountering errors when trying to make payments via RuPay UPI across all apps—Paytm, PhonePe, PayZapp, GPay, etc.
Whenever I try to pay using any of my RuPay credit cards via UPI—including those from different banks—I get an error saying:
"Transaction limit set by your bank has been exceeded or UPI risk limit exceeded"
At the same time, UPI payments using my regular bank account are working fine. This issue seems to be only with RuPay credit cards via UPI.
I believe this might be related to the heavy usage I had a few days back, even though the transactions were fully legitimate (no rotation or anything suspicious). It feels like a risk flag may have been triggered.
If anyone has faced a similar issue or knows how to resolve it, I’d really appreciate your help.
