Prepaid cards already linked with Wallets and Wallet UPI already launched by many wallet apps.

I was asking for my Axis Rupay meal card. Many small restaurants accept only UPI, so i am unable to use this card.

Meal cards only accept on selected MCC categories code. These are different cards from normal Prepaid cards.

Yes, i will use at those restaurants only. Due to UPI requirement , it doesn't work now. But if they allow UPI payment via this card, it will work, as mcc will still be restaurant category.

UPI also have MCC Categories but i think Meal card is mini kyc Card. RBI currently allowed only full kyc PPI wallets or PPI Cards linked with UPI.
