RBIO: Got Compensation of ₹10,000 from Canara Bank

@SJM can you share the process how to go about it? I want to put a complaint against HDFC Smartbuy for deficiency in service. Had booked 3 flight tickets with them and asked to reschedule, but what should have been done in 1 hour, they took 8 days to do and tripled the reschedule cost which ended up with me cancelling the ticket and losing a huge amount of money

Create a fresh thread, explaining everything about your case then tag him in the thread.

i applied for canara cc they cut 59rs for checking cibil first time came accross such incident where for checking cibil they charging amount... and even i was not told about this earlier...

what should be done? xD
 
I fought for 60 and got 10K 😊

But you need to be sure that it is violation of some guideline or T&C before you go ahead.
oh in my case i was not told before hand for this charge and even no other bank takes charges for cibil checks 🤣 first time experienced this xD
 
Kolkata, but recently new lady BO has come. No compensation for last 3 cases, only resolution.
@SJM - Apparently, recently, the total number of Banking Ombudsmen were increased from 22 to 24, wherein Chennai and Kolkata got two BOs each. The Kolkata-I Banking Ombudsman is still Mr. Rabindra Kishore Panda (Earlier was for the whole WB and Sikkim region), whereas for Kolkata - II, a newer one was assigned, who is, Miss Mary Lianlunkim Deng. Apparently, your complaints are being forwarded to Miss Deng.
