I mean during account opening process. Will I get option to choose RSDC?

I don't want that some other card come first, also to activate mobile banking many banks need at least one debit card.

I don't know , I have canara aspire account AMB 0, it automatic comes with LTF MILLENIAL DEBIT CARD. So, idont know about another account varient.
May be someone can help you .

You can select debit card you want during account opening process. That's what I remember happened when I opened in canara. During ekyc, they also ask to confirm the card you selected. Atleast for me the kyc guy mentioned the card, card fees and whether I want to change or stick with it.

Yes you can select while filling the form, I opened the account last month.

I had placed request for additional Canara select DC. I am unable to add new RSDC over Rupay website as initial 8 digits on both the cards are same. Can anyone please throw some light? TIA.

You can't add dc from same bank variant to the account. You need to create a new rupay account with a different email and mobile number.

Thank you. It worked, I did try to create another profile with separate email and mobile# but it did not go though. Now did using browser with incognito mode.
