Problem with Credit Card Upgrade - Axis bank

On the 24th of November I upgraded my Axis Neo Credit Card to Axis Select through customer care and it went through very easily. I got a link and an otp and I could see the ugraded car in my Axis OPEN App in a couple of minutes.
But, the next day I saw that my Axis myzone card was also eligible for an upgrade to the Privilege credit card so I obviously took it. I clicked on the upgrade button in the app and completed the process but I never received any message or email confirming this, even know after 36 hours it is showing that my Upgrade request is in process (attatched screenshot).
When I contacted customer care they told me that since my Axis Neo is also active I won't be getting upgraded for now since I'll have 4 cards. Have any of you guys faced this situation? Will my card still get upgraded after 45 days when my Axis Neo card will get deactivated or will I loose out on the upgrade?
I'm kinda dissapointed since I really wanted to have the Axis Privilege card since It would have been amazing for my spends.

I already have 4 Axis Credit card. Recently, I got upgrade offer in Ace Card to Indian Oil card. While attempting to upgrade, the process was underway, and after a week, I received this rejection SMS. 🫥

Following the advice in this thread I wrote to pno@axisbank.com and pretty much just copy pasted most of what I wrote in the original post. Let's see if they can help me out.

According to pno you can't have 4 Axis cards. You will get the same reply from them.

Yeah I understand that my chances are low but what's the harm in trying right, maybe they will block the Neo quicker or something.

Koi pyar nahi hai Axis se.
Kotak me bhi 4 cards mil chuka hai.
Abhi tak Axis ka Rupay Credit card nahi mila hai, 5th Card Indian Oil Rupay mil jata to acha hota. Btw ye 4 cards kon konse ye nahi pucha fir bhi mai bta deta hu.

I actually got the upgrade! I can see the Axis Privilege Credit Card in my app and I got a message with the last 4 digits.

Your old card will be closed if it is in the same reward structure as your new card.

Yes it got closed, but I wasn't utilising it anyway as I don't believe in Food delivery services like Swiggy. I'd rather just make the drive myself to eat out or just cook.

1) Does your old card NEO is in Active state or Deactivated automatically after new card reveived.


2) After applying FOR UPGRADATION, Does there is any CIBIL Enquiry on the same day or next day.


3) Does your ACCOUNTS In CIBIL related To Axis Credit Card remained same or New Card Account added in CIBIL?? Please check new report and reply me bro,
HOW MANY AXIS ACCOUNTS THERE IN YOUR CIBIL ( Why bcz in some banks like icici even you have 3 cards in cibil there will be only one account will be there.)


4) Limit shared or seperate


5) Billing date Same (or )Different ( or )must be same for Both cards.

I haven't upgraded my Axis Card yet. So I have no idea about this.
