Present: HDFC Neu+, Target: Infinia - Suggestions?

Hi,

I've taken HDFC Tata Neu+ as my First HDFC card, 3 months back. I also have Axis Ace and Amazon ICICI, both taken 3 months back.
Over a period of time, I would like to gradually move to Infinia.

I heard that HDFC won't simply provide a core card when the first card is taken as a Cobranded card. I can open a Savings Account with HDFC with an avg balance of 1L for now or can shift the salary account (70K net).

Any suggestions? Should I close HDFC Neu+ and apply for a core card after opening a bank account with HDFC?

When it times everything follows.. for now just build a good impression with bank, overtime everything follows..

You can upgrade from cobrand card as long as either spends or income matches or association years, don't worry. Enjoy current cards and pay full on-time.

If limit of card >90k apply MoneyBack "VISA" based on new application. From there the path goes Regalia "Any" 8-10L CL then Infinia FYF/Paid. Salary a/c will help you get these cards for sure infact you can push for a Regalia First as the ironical first core card.

Yes, this is actually right. But there is nothing wrong in trying.
I would suggest to open a account with HDFC Bank but first, talk with the BM and get a promise of some LTF card.
Then play the game if this doesn't work. Obviously, you know what to do.
