Pnb Excel salary account debit card?

I have it, it offers spa, golf, Amazon prime, uber voucher 100rs every quarter and myntra 500rs voucher per year and cult live membership of 3 months.
 
Anybody opened an account in Bangalore? Went to my local branch, they are saying salary account is only possible if employer has a current account in PNB.

Dont know about Bangalore. But i never heard that current account needed from the employer for salary account in pnb. Pnb even don't ask for company tie-up. Only payslip for desire account catagory.

That's what I learnt from the forum, but they completely denied it.
