PNB’s Greatest Hits: Now Featuring “Joining Fee for a 1.5-Year-Old Card”

redcarpet

TF Premier
Ah, PNB at it again, proving that consistency is key—especially when it comes to making mistakes. Latest episode in this thrilling series: they randomly slapped a “Joining Fee” of ₹590 (₹500 + GST) on my credit card... which I’ve been using for over 1.5 years. Plot twist? This is not even their first blunder—just the latest in a long-running sitcom I didn’t ask to be cast in.

Let’s rewind to the earlier seasons:

🎬 Episode 1: “Annual Fee Surprise”
Despite clearly qualifying for a waiver, I was generously charged an annual fee. Took a few follow-ups with their Head Office to get it reversed. Classic.

🎬 Episode 2: “The Wrong Card Chronicles”
Applied for a RuPay Select card. Got a Gold card instead. Nothing says elite banking like getting the card you didn’t apply for. Took 10 days and 2 email chases to even get a reply.

🎬 Episode 3: “Déjà Vu, But Make It Bureaucratic”
Sent all required documents for a new application. Got flagged as "discrepant" and was kindly asked to resend the same documents. Peak efficiency.

And let’s not forget the thrilling subplot:
📬 Their emails don’t have auto-acknowledgements. So every time I write, it’s a suspense thriller—Will they read it? Will they reply? Will I have to follow up till retirement?

Honestly, if PNB put even half as much effort into automation as they do into making these errors, they'd be the next fintech unicorn. But till then, friends, check your statements like it's a treasure hunt—you never know what surprise PNB has in store for you this month.
