Hi,

I have around 60,000 points in DCB, I will get only 30k accor points on that.
So planning to take Accor signature(brazil) which will give 5000 points every month.

I already spent 4 lakh in this quarter. so dont want to use DCB. I also read somewhere that Accor membership price will increase form Jan.
Is it good option to buy Accor membership using ATLAS in Dec?

Thanks.

accor signature is good.. you will get 5000points/month n bonus 5000/quarter.. total 75000points but status points 1000/month. Since u missed the Black friday sale which ended on 2nd dec. I would suggest you take it on jan 1st or 2nd. yes u can use ur atlas, dcb you will get reward points on that spend also

It is never a good idea to pay real money for virtual money
Or
for points and miles which are created out of thin air by hotels and airlines.
but if you insist on buying, then use atlas
My plan is to stay in Maldives or Masai Mara. Accor and Marriott are best hotels there.
But Marriott is very costly though I get free rooms with points( no breakfast or meals. sadly I came to know this after I acquired 1 lakh MR on Amex plat travel)
Recently I came to know Accor(Pullman etc) has All inclusive options and fixed point value.
I am easily spending 5 lakh per quarter(4 lakh on DCB). Rest 1 Lakh I want to use atlas so that I can get in 1:2 ratio.
And Accor Signature gives good points which aligns with Oct' 2025 travel plan for a special occasion.

Not sure how much this works but want to try this points/miles game once :bomb:

It should work nicely. I am using accor regularly and enjoying the benefits

Presently accor is running promotion for 9 percent discount till March 21 on absolute membership. It taken with axis atlas then 10 percent extra accor points

Bro, can you explain how axis atlas gives 10k points on buying signature membership through it?

Just buy it online and pay via atlas card. As it is hotel related expenses so you will get 5 points per 100 that will be converted to 10 in accor etc. remember you will incur 4% forex charge. Best time to buy is around black friday when it generally ran around 15% discount on annual subscription

Hello guys - I am seeking your guidance regarding the best course of action here.

Currently, I have 22 nights and will be staying at an Accor property for an additional 6 nights from the 25th to the 31st later this year. This will bring my total to 28 nights, leaving me just 2 nights short of achieving Gold status, which means I will retain Silver status following the annual reset.

I am considering the Signature Absolute membership. If I take it this month, I will receive 7,000 status nights by Dec, which would qualify me for Gold status - allowing me to enjoy the associated benefits during my upcoming stay in Dec end. While I am aware that room upgrades under Gold status are not guaranteed and less common than under Platinum, several friends have shared positive experiences of being upgraded as Gold members.

Although the status will reset at the end of the calendar year (December 2025), the 1,000 status nights per month benefit will continue until April 2026, when the Signature Absolute membership expires. This would provide me with 4,000 status nights in the new year.

To reach Platinum, I would require an additional 10,000 status nights. Based on my expected stays, I do not anticipate achieving this through revenue nights alone. Therefore, I am planning to renew my Signature Absolute membership in May 2026.

My key question is: upon renewing the Signature Absolute membership in May 2026, will the status nights reset to 0 (thereby losing the accumulated 4,000), or will the new status nights be added to the existing 4,000—resulting in 12,000 status nights by December 2026? This would allow me to attain Platinum status by year-end, particularly as I have a 9-night stay planned for December. Achieving Platinum at that point would enable me to enjoy those benefits through December 2027.

Following, I have somewhere same question. Adding to that, one cannot buy Accor plus and signature membership both?

I read in Technofino that both can be bought together.
I bought Signature recently in May . Will wait till July/Aug or near my trip time and take Plus as well.
