Hi, my brother and sister in law are currently travelling and I have unlimited primary international and additional guest access. sur names are same for me and my brother but first and last name are different. Do you think if I share my QR code will they be able to use ?

No.. it has to be either only surname or full name match. But you can still try

It is not fraudulent as long as it is used within your blood relatives. Don't think using your father's PP for son is fraud. There are people selling QRs - that is fraudulent. The entire concept of add on cards is based on this - supposed to be given for blood relatives

Name mismatch PP is always rejected. That is known. You cannot explicitly use your named PP for some other person. However with surname matching it is possible. You just have to tell at the counter that the PP belongs to your son/daughter with surname

Unless it's called out that the PP belongs to someone else (blood relative), if I hand over a priority pass with First Name intentionally hidden, it's an attempt to make other person believe that the PP belongs to the person whose name is on the boarding card.

In my books it's impersonation for material benefit but everyone has the liberty to decide where to draw the lines for themselves.

I was refused this for my family at Singapore terminal 2 SATS premier lounge in August 2024. I have multiple cards with free international lounge access. They refused saying, only card holder can go. Name should match on Boarding pass and Only one card can be swiped for my name.

at changi they were all very strict about name matching when I visited few months ago.
I used rupay diners version and worked without any hiccups.

They check each name and you cannot take fsmily members with you on your cards. I used Axis magnus priority pass with guest access on 18th June 2025. My SBI JCB debit again did not worked anywhere, no even at ATMs.

Many people earleir on this forum also told that card does not work online , but works for ATM and POS. In my case, it worked nowhere. After coming back, raised issue with bank branch. They raised service request to fix this, but I do not know if anything will happwen.

For hotels, it's generally good to book as much in advance as possible (assuming you are booking refundable) and keep checking for rate changes.

Also, if you can book hotel nights as chunks of 1-2 nights each, it's very helpful as you can cancel and rebook any nights that become cheaper and keep nights that go up at your booking price. At checking you can tell the fdc that you have multiple bookings and they will tc of it.

usually, which is the best way to book hotels? i have Infinia and planning to make few bookings on Smartbuy portal. is there any other platform i should specifically check for booking international hotels?
