During the first launch of sbi cb in 2022, it did give insta disc + it's regular 5%cb. After 6-9 months they have forfeited one of those. Don't remember exacly whther they have forfeited the insta discount or the regular 5% CB.

So we can't be sure , even if sbi phonepe giving insta discount won't be forfeited later.

Had bought the 256L convertible from FK during monsoon sale in June 2023 at 24.5k with all discounts.

Could've been lower with cashback on Millenia, but FK ended up reporting Education MCC for this transaction.

No issues with the refrigerator until now - It has been just 2 years.

I think the banks on the banner for both the sales are premium sponsors. But usually, we do end up seeing lot of other bank offers for direct/emi tnx like fedCC, IndusInd etc.
May be we will see HDFC emi offers on these days.

HDFC will definitely roll out some EMI offers — they’ve been aggressively promoting EMI for the past 3–4 years.


From what I’ve observed, these offers are more beneficial to the bank than to the customers.


Many customers like me, who never purchase on EMI, actually hate these types of offers. We prefer instant discount deals during sales, which HDFC usually fails to provide.
