Plan for 2025 BBD / GIF Sale

Two purchases need to be done.

1. A premium Android tablet (like One plus Pad 3/Lenovo Yoga Plus) or a mid range apple tablet ( like apple Air M3).

Budget 50K approx for tablet and 10-12K for accesories like keyboard and pencil.
My basic tasks for that tablet:
1. Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
2. Multimedia ( Netflix, Prime Video, Jio hotstar)
3.Pdf reading.
4. Little bit of video editing.

I think I will get Air M3 approx 45 in BBD but it will be 128 Gb.
Is 128 Gb enough today?
Lenovo will offer 512 GB(keyboard +pen included)and OnePlus 256 Gb in less than 50K budget( with card offer) but I am going to use the tab for 5+ year. Will android tablet be reliable?

Expert's opinion needed. After clearing this doubt, I will discuss about my second purchase. Thanks in advance

I have mainly 2 items

1. A 1.5T AC with the rewards points I have collected and the voucher from IDFC RP

2. A mid range mobile phone maybe the CMF 2 or the Moto g96 or IQOO Z10X 5G

I am looking to buy an AC (1 ton) and a washing machine (9kg). Both will be mostly LG.
Another big purchase coming up in Sept is a scooter - will be mostly TVS Jupiter.
Still researching. If anyone has any suggestions, please share.
Using A/C (5Y AMC) & WM both from LG from past 5 years. No issues till today. If you can stretch budget then consider Dryer combo.

Planning to buy 9 kg front load washing machine. I want to know which brand gives the longest waranty
Warranty duration doesn’t matter as all leading brands follow industry standards. Either go with Bosch (built like a tank) or LG (patented direct drive tech). Personally using both and never faced any issues. If you are worried about repairs then consider AMC.

Android tablets cannot handle word/excel/powerpoint properly, unless its online through office365. The main reason I recently switched to lenovo chromebook duet 11. Libreoffice handle word/excel/powerpoint much better. And the device comes with OS support till 2034.

Now that great freedom sale is done..

Let's talk about the big upcoming sale of 2025 ie BBD / GIF 2025...

Plan for the savings in the upcoming sale of the year , most likely to start around 15 September 2025 ...

It is only about a month away...

Let's begin...
When I saw your this post, I couldn’t help but think how quickly time flies. I mean It feels like just yesterday when I saw your thread about the Big Billion Days and the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2024. Now, it’s already 2025.

Seriously, waiting for tomorrow is the worst thing ever for any living being on this planet. And I am speaking this on the basis of my own experience. So if you can do it today, just do it. There is no better day than 'TODAY'.

So should we wait for BBD sale or buy today itself? 🤪

I am finally planning to buy a TV, but not sure what to buy, The last TV we bought was in 1996

We are living in happy times now. Whatever you buy, the current state-of-the-art advanced technology has ensured that the interval between buying new TVs now has come down to a mere 5 years or so, at most. The days of 20--30 year wait between TVs have long been consigned to the pages of history. 🙂

Nowadays a 55 inch TV retailing at 30-35K is good enough for 6-7Years.
