PhonePe wallet balance using SBI Cashback CC?

My electricity boards supports these wallets (No Amazon Pay Balance!). My question is can I exploit this wallets using SBI cashback cc to get 5% cashback? Like purchasing giftcards? Is it possible?

Bought 1k voucher last week. Received 5% cb. Chat with customer support and ask for mcc . They told me that mcc for the transaction is 5999 a week back. You can check whether mcc is changed.

This is the merchant that comes on the current outstanding statement.

I have done trxns at blinkit/spigen/zomato/cred/stan. My total cashback currently is quite less. Something is def wrong here.

Either stan didn't gave me cashback or cred didn't gave me cashback for gc's i bought from them of flipkart (which everyone said cred is giving 5%), anyways something seems to be off.

I am also attaching all my debit/credit transactions of current outstanding. I am talking abt current settled trxns.

Total : 23+28+61+21+21+14-13-21+47+47+5+125+15 = 373 right?

but my current cashback shows 279.

So it's wrong as hell!!!

Give all ur transactions and the cashback to gpt, tell it to perform different combinations to figure out which transaction's cashback is missing

I have found the issue. It's cred mumbai IN. No cashback on that merchant name. Remove that cashback of 94 and everything else is correct.

They charge 0.4% upfront for the phone pe vouchers. No payment gateway charges.

Seems CRED did not give points. If u ignore those 94 points from cred, u will get exactly 279 as CB

Thanks everyone for the help. I'll stop buy gc's from cred now. What a shame.

And I love phone gc's, love paying from it, my nearby chicken shop and med store and many others support it, so will buy more phonepe gc's from stan.

Just one last thing, if I add 10 phonepe gc of 1k each or 4 phonepe gc of 2.5k each, that doesn't matter right? just confirming.
