PhonePe Showing Option To Pay Credit Card Bill from Debit Card

I was just checking PhonePe and found that it was showing Add Debit Card option on Credit Card Bill Payment (screenshot attached). It also supports HDFC Credit Card Bill Payment.
Platform fee is fixed ₹1 whether bill amount is ₹10 or ₹100,000.
Just wondering if anyone tried it?

This looks great. I have a 11L bill on Infinia to pay this month. Can I pay via HDFC platinum debit card and earn 1% points? Is there a cap on DC RPs per day or per month?

Plat card 750 per month. So pay 75,000 inr via debit card and later switch to Cheq (either dcs or bank nefts). It has reward rate of 0.1 % with a limit of 400 per month. So you can pay 4Lakh on Cheq. Later may be cred and be a spinning monkey.

There is no HDFC CC option in SBI BBPS.

you will be able to pay HDFC CC bill via HDFC DC via this method but you wont get any cashback

via this method, you can get 1% if you have HDFC Millenia DC but no cashback via HDFC Platinum or any other DC

HDFC platinum doesn't give 1% with paytm/mobikwik. Gives only in HDFC billpay

In short, HDFC platinum DC not useful in paying HDFC CCs

Millenia DC gives 1% CB on paytm/mobikwik upto 400/month
