SBI Card PhonePe SBI Card – CVP new SBI CC launching

Applied for this card, 3 days back, agent called yesterday for verification. Agent said that my card was approved but needed verification


1. My main 'income account' is in Tripura Gramin Bank, which they don't support,

2. Then I tried doing the aggregator stuff for 3 months bank statements via my 2nd main account i.e. HDFC, which doesn't work and shows 'There was an error. New HDFC site is not yet supported, please contact support team for further information',

3. Then I reluctantly gave my Axis bank account which I just made for the Airtel Axis card which obviously doesn't have enough transactional history, so their backend systems didn't approve of that.

4. Then I complained about why HDFC bank can't be used, which they asked me send the screenshot of the message shown, I sent them, they sent that back to their IT department,

5. Then I was told that the call center personnel will be on personal leave today, so she will call me tomorrow. UGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH.


what's the benefit of having an Wealth account (Other than the select wealth Debit card ofcourse). (I know SBI card and SBI are different).

what's the benefit of having an Wealth account (Other than the select wealth Debit card ofcourse). (I know SBI card and SBI are different).
easy solution for this is , login to hdfc netbanking and then switch to old netbanking ( available in profile option) and then again do the netbanking thing will go through!
 
Yesterday Evening, using Digilocker & some debit-credit task, I applied for SBI Phonepe Select and application no was generated. Today I have got a call from the customer care. First, he asked me for which card I have applied and told me that I will receive the card after a week.
When I try to check it's status, I am getting 'You have entered an incorrect application number.' Am I on the right track? I don't see any card in my App & Nothing regarding the new card.
Has anyone faced this type of problem?

I applied 3 days back and it still shows incorrect aplication number ,but I have done VKYC and also received verification call today.
so mostly it is just a backend issue.

Same thing, incorrect application number. Let's give them 2-3 days.
 
Phonepe Black got approved but yesterday an agent called me for the final verification and Legality and Consent sign.
She mistakenly sent me the Legality form for Base version of Phonepe Rupay which I signed through OTP on the call itself.

She said her manager is absent so she will relay this matter to him but I don't think she did anything. Now, she is not even picking up my calls. Today, I got call from other agent to split my CB card limit with Phonepe Card.
I explained him that the card which got issued to me is incorrect and I have applied for and got approved for Phonepe Black. He said that I have noted the complaint and some other person will call you regarding this matter.
So, anyone here also faced similar issue in the past? And what is the further recourse which should be taken?
I also emailed the nodal officer today.

Yes one of my colleague face same issue. In the legality form there is phonepe sbi base rupay credit card mentioned. But actually there is no such a card in sbi portfolio. They even ask to sent bank statement on email which has sbicard.com domain name. Application number was also same as black

Base Phonepe card is Phonepe Purple Card which has joining and annual charges of 499.

So, this is different product than Phonepe Black.

I don't think nodal officer or SBI Card agents are gonna change your card variant as you have already e-signed your form.
Better don't activate the card and let is auto close.
