Payment made to closed card

What happens if we make a payment to closed credit card.

I made a payment by mistake to my closed SBI credit card.

Can you please let me know what happens and how can I reverse this payment ?

You may get it back in your bank account.
there is option of Credit Balance Refund on website/app, use the option and give them your bank account details. They will return it.
or you may also call SBI CC helpline.
