Are you paying your credit card bill via 3rd party app or directly from your bank portal? then you are probably losing 1% cashback.
If you pay your credit card bill via HDFC Bank bill payment portal using your HDFC Bank debit card then you can earn 1% cashback, maximum Cashback capping depends on your debit card type.
Maximum Cashback Capping-
If you have HDFC Easyshop Platinum debit card then you can earn 1% upto Rs. 750 per month, just pay Rs. 75,000 bill & get Rs. 750 cashback.
If you have HDFC Millennia debit card then you can earn 1% upto Rs. 400 per month, just pay Rs. 40,000 bill & get Rs. 400 cashback.

Not only credit card bill, you can pay any utility bill you want (must be available on Hdfc bank bill payment portal) & get 1% cashback.

To Pay Bill Follow These Steps-
1. Login to your HDFC Bank Netbaning
2. Click on "BillPay & Recharge" tab -> Click on Continue



3. Now click on Add Biller
4. Select Credit Card
5. Now select your card provider name



6. Enter your credit card detail
7. Enter amount you want to pay
8. Select your debit card from drop down menu
9. Click on pay



10. Enter OTP & Done!

You'll receive 1% Cashback for the transaction, you can check & redeem your debit card Cashback from "Card Tab -> Debit Card -> Enquiry -> Cashback Enquiry & Redemption"

So I paid too on 1st Oct for cards there are due on 5th (tomorrow). Since 1st & 2nd being holiday, I'm expecting it to get settled by tonight. Went till the edge this time, was not worth the 1%, given that if it does not credits by tomorrow, I'll have to pay the cards from another source. And one of them being Magnus, which I do not plan to use henceforth.

I paid Axis bills on 1st Oct on billpay and its settled now. Just got SMS.

You can only pay the exact bill amount only... like my last month bill was 1000 but i had 8800 in payzapp and this month i have already done txn of 9000 in sbi card so i paid 1000 amount 8 times to pay for my current month txn as well.. but to cannot pay 500 or any custom amount

I re-added my sbi card in old UI netbanking last week, since then I can see its listed in netbanking but then its not listed in mobile banking. May I know if you can see your added sbi card in mobile banking also?

I had done HDFC CC bill payment on 30th September and also on 1st October using HDFC Platinum DC from Freecharge. The transaction has been settled but I do not see any rewards points credited in DC. This was the first time I used Freecharge for payment. When can I expect reward points to be credited ? Previously I used Mobikwik and points used to get credited in 2 days.

Nothing. HDFC bank is still surviving on stone aged technology. You need to calculate reward points to check whether they are credited. They will show full points and after you redeem you can check your statement if redeemed points get credited in account. No alert from HDFC bank.

Generally 1 day cashback used to come but as we saw problems since last month, let's expect it now in 5 working days. I too waiting for 1st oct redemption.
