pay credit card bill using credit card via amazon pay balance upi

hi,

follow these steps to use ur amazon pay balance upi (not amazon upi) for paying credit card bills using credit card.

prerequisites:
load amazon wallet using credit card (thru uber or any other 3rd party app)
kyc for amazon pay account.

limitations: 5k txn in 1st 24 hours. 20k in a month.
giftcards and cashback, refunds in apay balance can't be used for this purpose.

in last step, put your amazon pay balance upi ind manually (usually it is phonenumber@amazonpay, confirm once).

approve request from your amazon app.

done.

i dont know how long this will be active, but works for now.

it took 1 day for the payment to reflect in my credit card. check with a small amount first.

Overall limit through this method is 20k? Is it for one card or overall? For KYC account also?

limit is not for card, but for 1 Amazon account. Bank transfer limit 10k per month, merchant transfer limit 20k per month. and upi is available only for kyc users.

you can, upto 1 lac. but you won't be able to take money out of your pay wallet beyond 30k per month using upi.

Ohk, got it...u meant 10k can be transferred to bank and 20k for credit card bills...let me not transfer to bank, it will be too much abuse of this method and this may get closed forever 😀

Yes, SBI Simplyclick also give 2.5% rewards.

even my 5k txn didn't go through. broke it into smaller parts and it was successful. try 2.5k. or anything under 5k

Works perfectly! There's a limit of 5k for the first 48 hours and after that you can transact with a higher amount.

If you load on Amazon via Uber app then its comes under Amazon shopping category.

For example - HDFC Millennia credit card get 5% cashback on Amazon loading via Uber app.

You are correct, I got 850Rs cashback by loading 17k through uber.

Not allowing to add a single rupee through credit and debit cards. Amazon asked me to use upi or net banking. I think the journey came to end. 👋
