My axis neo credit card statement generates on 10th of every month . This month till 10 August i had unbilled amount of 10k and then i spent 10k on 11th August but when i see my statement i got shocked .For statement of 10th August they also included the transaction that was done on 11th August and i got the statement of 20k instead of 10k.
Axis be like no one can predict my next move . 😂😂😂

We people put a mail and fight but I sometimes wonder who don't know or can't mail or are too busy or not knowing much or can't understand these charges and all how do they survive.
reminds me of this story

A city boy, Kenny, moved to the country and bought a donkey from a farmer for $100. The next day the farmer delivered the donkey.

“Sorry son,” the farmer said, “the donkey died.”

Kenny asked for his money back, but the farmer said he already spent it.

Kenny said, “OK, then, just unload the donkey. I’ll raffle him off.”

A month later the farmer met up with Kenny, who said he sold 500 raffle tickets at $2 each and made a profit of $898.”

“Didn’t anyone complain because the donkey was dead?” the farmer asked.

“Just the guy who won,” Kenny explained, “So I gave him his two dollars back!”

Even axis is doing the same, entertain only those question and the guys who never question will be at loss.

They did the same on my atlas card few months back. Statement generation date was 16th. Unbilled amount was 1.23 L.

I spent 50k next day on 17th & Statement was generated for 1.73 L.

Anyway i pay full amount within 2-3 days of statement generation, so no big deal. But they mess up things at times, so always be careful with them.

Note :- I have stopped doing transaction for 2-3 days after billing date.

Although I have never faced this with my axis cards but one pattern I have noticed with almost all banks' CC is that generally it takes roughly 2 days for any CC amount to get settled and reflect in the unbilled amount, but when u do any transaction just a day before the CC statement generation date, then that same transaction somehow gets settled the same day and gets reflected in the bill the next day. It is as if banks dont want to wait 2 days for it to get settled in the next month's bill. So I have stopped doing large value transactions 2 days before the bill generation and wait until the bill gets emailed to me.

So banks are particularly concerned about 54 days credit period
I think they should not cross that as a risk practice
