Which is the best card to make transaction on NPS website as Magnus as well as Infinia is not giving points? I have Magnus, Infinia and diners black. Pls suggest

Thanks for all the information.
I am currently using AU Ixigo LTF for 2.5% on NPS payments.

Planning to take AMEX MRCC only for NPS payments. I have few questions if you can Answer please

1) Does Amex MRCC give normal and bonus rewards points on NPS transactions (Say I make 4*1500 NPS transactions in a month, will I get the Bonus 1000 rewards points ?

2) Do I have to wait to accumulate 18000 rewards points to be able to redeem it for amazon voucher (In this case 6000 Voucher)

Calculations for others -
AMEX Card referral benefits - 2000 (On min 5000 spend in 90 days)
Joining benefits - 4000 (on min 5000 spend in 90 days and payment of joining fees)

I will make (1500*4=6000) payment on NPS every month for 1000 Bonus points
12 months = 12000 rewards points

Total rewards 2000 + 4000 + 12000 = 18000 for a payment of 72000
reedem in for 6000 Gift card
minus 1180 Joining fee
Total return = 4820
Effective Final return 6.69% on NPS

It says Insurance excluded doesn't NPS Count?

I have an upgrade path from platinum debit card to get business debit card which allows cashback on government transaction, I think 9311 or something. I was thinking of getting that DC for these payments

No normal ones, only bonus points

Currently it's 500 since Aug 1

Joining benefits - 4000 (on min 5000 spend in 90 days and payment of joining fees)

This is not in terms and conditions, it'll be 2000 even if you get it's actually on spending additional 10k on top of initial 5k spend

And some changes in the calculations

Your calculations are spot on. I didn't know about the changes in referral benefits yesterday

Use a referral for FYF so your net return is higher.

Also, NPS portal has fees. 0.7% + GST I believe. So that will reduce the return a bit but still a decent return.

But a spend of 1.5 L a year is needed for waiver of renewal fees.

for aubank its govt. transaction.. recently they released circular about exclusion of govt. transaction (except zenith+).. check once.

I see that e-NPS portal is not accepting AMEX anymore from Raorpay gateway! I paid using Amex Gold last month, but today seeing this "Amex not supported error". Can someone confirm?

Hi all, my wife using paytm money to invest in nps , she have PRAN card . She using it for last 2 years .
I registered via icici bank now I am directly using nps app .
When i tried to do the same for my wife , i am always getting PRAN NOT FOUND IN DATABASE error . Can anyone help on this please ? Thank you .
