Recent changes in ICICI you may bear charges from 1st may 2025.
For Instant Discount Campaigns, Foreclosure charges will be applicable even if the Card Member wants to cancel the EMI.
Badhai Ho.
So it is written that they will charge 3% of principal + GST. I was looking to buy Oneplus 13 with 12 month NC EMI which gives 5051 interest savings with 56947 as the initial payment. Now even if they charge me 3% forclosure charges plus GST, it comes around 2K rupeers. So I am still getting a benefit of 3K rupees. Am I understanding this right or something missing?

Unfortunately, I missed out on reading this comment 2 days ago.

I recommended a friend to buy S24 Ultra on sale using NC EMI on ICICI CC. Now when he tried to cancel, the call support completely denied.

I've asked him to escalate the case and request a one time exception. Maybe it goes through, because the changes were made on May 1st.

Separate question - Did we get an email about this change? I do not see any emails.

In any case, the backup plan is to cancel the order entirely, and buy the phone again in next sale.

Edit: Customer support says that no email was sent, only the website was updated.
