Yes because before August i had 1400 something points and no points were given for the two gift cards i purchased of 10k each summing up to 1k points

Hey buddy you did something for the points or they got credited within time.. cause k haven't recieved my reward points for the statement of july-august... The statement is showing 0 points and next statement is coming soon

Right points comes in the account but not in statement. They should be visible in next statement.

@Luser @panu24 May I know your statement date? If it falls between 1-5 of every month then you are having problem with statement not points credit. Most of people having their statement date 1-5 are facing this issue just because points are getting credited later. Also remember any txn done on 30/31 will have points credited next to next statement due to settlement of txn of Day 3.

As I told @panu24 before, for me nothing has changed since 2019/20. My statement date is 14th of every month.

Take example of current month. All the txns I did between Aug 1-29 will have 990 pts this month for Rs.19800 worth of txns I did. Points will come under accumulated between Sep 2-7. These will not be redeemable till Sep 14th. On Sep 15th, once statement generates at 12:00:00 AM, these points will be redeemable by evening on 15th.

If you have later date then please share your statement screenshot and I will analyze and tell you exact reason why it is happening with you. Pls don't hide your statement generation date. You can DM me.

Remember now your txns done on Aug 31st, will settle on Sep 2 and you may or may not get points in next immediate statement. It will come between Oct 1-3 and will settle in Oct statement.

From next time have txns only between 1-29 in month of 31 days or 1-28 in month of 30 days or 1-26/1-27 in month of 28/29 days (Feb in leap year) to get it settled in following month. 🙂

Yes 2nd of month is statement date. But point here is not about crediting but about redeeming for me. So say a transaction done on 5th July of 10k AGV, I can able to see credit in account between 1-5 Aug but able to redeem those 500 points after next 2nd Sept statement shows those points.

In some months points got credited on 5th of month. So those having statement date as 4/5 will face problem too. HDFC has never promised that they will credit on 1st itself. No TnC mentions the timeline. It's on them when they credit or more specifically, depends on system. It only says points will credit in following month and redeemable on statement generation.

Now SBI don't even respect the deadline of 2 months for points and for whatever reason delays it by 6 months also. Atleast with HDFC 1-7 is fixed.

You didn't faced it before because points were crediting on 1st of month or by morning or 2nd and when your statement generates at midnight of 2 these points were credited in statement itself.

Ab har month jab points hi 2nd ki evening after 6 PM or 3rd, 4th ya 5th ko aate hai toh bhai kaha se us statement mein add-up honge jo us se pehle hi generate ho chuki hai.

Mail HDFC and get your statement date changed to after 10th of every month say 15th or 18th.
