nope, been there, 4 people in which i knew OP and other 3 were his friend and i use hardly for one month out of 12 months, why you wanna ask cause i hated the part to message him and then i could endless watch how many new thing are there and went to youtube. now i have stopped using yt too, so this shared email thing could solve this issue though, nice one OP, now regarding all can watch Netflix every 15-30 min will log out one member automatically so it could be a chaos for sure.

Messaging the other person for verification was the thing I wanted to avoid, so if everyone had access to email, no one would need to ask anyone for verification and verify themselves

This doesn't work, definitely not on TV, as after sometime a home network is established and its complicated and messed up.
It tried logging into my TV from friend's netflix, it worked in when the account was new. But after a few days it got logged out and when i tried logging back in it threw an error saying "device not part of household network".
But it was a good idea of using a common email.

I am sharing my Netflix account with 2 other people. They use several devices without any issue.
I have a tailscale setup in my home network server, which runs 24x7. So all they have to do is just log-in to their tailgate app once in a while and stream for a few minutes.

I am sharing acc for years. And this for around a year now.

This is a great solution if you have a home network server but setting up your ip address as exit node for strangers on internet is kinda risky. I hope you know those 2 people in person.

I have a separate LAN setup for that. No connectivity between my home devices and the Tailscale network host.
