Need suggestions for individual current account

Y not get udyam registration. Its too easy. Nothing required.

Yeah branch is safe too, they won't block accs

My requirement was zero balance individual current account. After researching extensively, only BOB allowed it without any documents. Later i registered for udhyam and a few more options opened like AU, Yes Blitz, Kotak 811 Business, Indusind Merchant Plus Basic Account. I took Kotak 811 Business but Kotak has serious freezing issues in their 811 accounts. Mine was also freezed so i am using BOB Lite for now. No issues so far.

Can I ask why do people want to use current account for personal use? What is the use case or advantage?

Seems like RBI gave serious instructions to banks not to open individual accs without verifications.

I visited another hdfc today, they told without business they can't open account. After opening account, welcome letter will come then they will visit business to verify welcome letter.Only aadhar pan needed. So i dropped

That is just for required business docs. Since individual acc doesn't need business proofs so not listed there

I don't trust BOB or any PSU, when it comes to information available on the website. At the branch they have a different set of requirements.
