I have a Standard Chartered Smart Credit Card and need to pay more than ₹4 lakh in rent this year. I'm planning to pay around ₹35,500 monthly using RedGirraf. I read somewhere that if the rent is more than ₹20,000, a rent agreement is required. Is a rent agreement required irrespective of the rent amount, or not required if the amount is less than ₹20,000?

but when i try to register on RedGirrafe and enter 20,000 as rent it still asks to upload a rent agreement
