Need help on buying Printer

Anybody has experience with Brother DCP-T426W or Brother DCP-D525W ? Any other recommendation for inktank printer in similar price range?

I am using DCP-D520W. seems DCP-D525W is the newer version of DCP-D520W.
have been using it for the last 2 years. no issues so far.

I'm using the HP 319, but it's not available to purchase now.
They have launched some new models.

And always choose the wifi enabled one, I still regret for choosing the USB version

have been using it for the last 2 years. no issues so far.

I currently use a Brother monochrome laser printer, but I am seriously considering an ink tank AIO now, particularly the Brother DCP-D525W. My requirement is to take a few colour prints (about 10 to 15 pages) once every three weeks or so. Since my usage will be infrequent, will I face issues like clogged nozzles, ink drying, print head damage or will printing at this interval be enough to keep the printer in normal working condition?

You should definitely get one. Better a laser one which its mostly maintenance free but initial cost is high.
Or get those ink ones. Comes very cheap during sales on Flipkart compares to amazon

bhai this was the reason why bought my printer, on that time I applied for my pan card and i want keep the submitted form as a print out, they print it on colour, and took 10 per page, i was like why i have to pay this, i don't even need this in future

Like it or not, it’s not advisable to print documents at cyber cafes if you value your privacy. I have seen many of them retain files even after finishing the print job, unless you specifically ask them to delete them. You never know what they do with your files, and it can be a real problem if sensitive documents or IDs fall into the wrong hands. Now I already own a laser printer and was only looking for an ink tank for occasional colour prints.

My original question was to @imdjay about the efficacy of Brother DCP-D520/525W for moderate to low monthly usage, and instead I am getting nonsensical replies like ‘go to cyber cafes’. Yeah, thanks for that, geniuses.

Most modern ink tank printers come with an automatic printhead cleaning cycle (sometimes called auto nozzle cleaning). Just keep the printer powered on—and ideally connected to Wi-Fi—and it will run the cleaning cycle once or twice a day. Sometimes I even hear it at midnight, which can be a little startling until I realize it’s just the printer cleaning itself.

There is almost zero maintenance requirted if you are ok with black and white printout. I had bought Canon LBP 2900 in 2001 i think, only thing changed is its cartridge. 1500 pages ke baad simple refill is needed which takes around 200 rupees and half hour.
Laser printer have this advantage of non dry ink, plug and play as and when you want.
Only issue is if you want color printout then inktank printer needs to be purchased which i don't have much insights.
I had this inkjet printer which should not be purchased if you don't have frequent use, as the ink dries up if not used for a longer time.

Even after 6 months you only need to go to settings and run nozzle clean in ink tank printers.

Make sure to run the calibration software provided by the manufacturer. This must not be an issue.

I regret getting the canon printer. I would also recommend upgrade to brother even if it's at 15-20% premium.
