Need help in planning a points only trip to Kuala Lumpur - Aug 2025

Having entered the points and miles game a few months back, I think I now have enough points to consider our family's first international trip. Here's the plan:

Dates: 8th to 15th August, 2025
Sector: BLR - KUL - BLR
Pax: 2 adults, 2 Children (ages 13 & 7)
Flights: Onward - Malaysian Airlines booked through Cathay Pacific. It is coming to 70,000 miles + 16,000 INR taxes
Return flight - Need help
Hotel: AC hotel, Kuala Lumpur. 5 nights is coming to 70,000 points for 2 rooms. (1 night of this is free)
Food - Need help as we are strict vegetarians
Activities - Kidzania, Legoland, Golf on 1 morning, Local sightseeing
Car hire - Need help (I drive a honda city/Ertiga in Bangalore). Do I need IDP?
Visa - Need help
Lounge - Need help

Would appreciate your help/comments. I don't want to risk any borderline/illegal hacks as I am with family. If a 'legal' hack doesn't work, I am happy to pay.

Visa: not needed, just need to submit MDAC 3 days in advance.
Food: Vegetarian is not a big problem, also there are quite a few Indian restaurants around
Commute: Cabs / Uber are cheap, car rental is actually more work and you have to look for parking and my experience is its more expensive than cabs.

Try to get twin tower tickets online in advance. If you go to central market for shopping, bargain like crazy.

Also, if time permits, please try to do atleast a day trip to langkawi. Can easily be done as a day trip

Thanks for that tip. If my flight to KL is an award flight, can I add free stopover to Langkawi?
