I am also planning to visit Dubai in second week of March. Which is the Hotel? How was food? and How many points it required? because here it shows in Rupees not in points.

Almost all Accor hotels that I have been allow you to burn points for stay + taxes. Speaking from my experience in India, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore & SriLanka.
However, since you have mailed them twice and not received a full confirmation, my suggestion (for maximum peace of mind) would be to pay with reward points while booking the stay online [the booking here clearly shows you can pay by rewards points]. For the balance payment, if they allow you can pay using reward points at the hotel or pay using credit card.

You should be able to redeem it, just ask them to add it to the room tab and then burn points during final settlement. I also have a Novotel Goa Resort booking for this weekend but Taj Aguada is letting me use some vouchers so I'll probably extend 2 nights here itself.
One quick question - ALL App is running 15% off promotion now. It shows online payment but it does not show pay by points option.
Another option is non refundable without 15% off promotion but shows I can pay with points for online payment.
So I cannot book with 15% off promotion and pay with points??
There is pay at hotel option as well which is more expensive rate.

You made the booking online? I am thinking about booking online as well but it says that only partial payment is allowed.
Also can we burn points later for f&b seperately or that will have to be paid in cash in case we book online?
You can post F&B to the room and pay with points during checkout.

I emailed the hotel about points redemption and this was their reply
“Yes, you can pay your package amount (incld. taxes) with your points. But please be informed as below.
Each member has a slab of points that can be utilized at one time.
A minimum amount has to be paid by cash/card of the package amount”

The reason I’m asking about this is because I will be redeeming points for the first time and don’t want to shell every thing out of my own pocket in case I fumble!
Slab means you can only use points in multiples of 2000; thus, 2000 points equal approximately 3600 INR, and 4000 points equal 7200 INR. If the bill is less than 3600 INR, some hotels may allow redemption of 1000 points, though this is not guaranteed. For a bill of 5000 INR, 3600 INR can be covered redeeming 2000 points, with the remaining balance payable by cash or card.
Yes i did the same thing billed all my F&B to the room and paid through points at checkout in Fairmont Norfolk & Fairmont Mara, Kenya

Does accor have any properties in Sri Lanka? In the ALL app, if I choose Sri Lanka, it does not show any properties.
There used to Mövenpick Colombo. It's been transferred to NH Hotels now.

Another question, So if i book hotel via the All app, I can bill additional f&b to my room and settle it all down with points later? I mean room service can be added to my existing booking and can be settled with points as well?
Yes, Bill all ur service,f&b to ur room and at checkout u can pay with points
no. u can change it at the final Payment/confirmation page where you will have the option to adjust the no of points u want to use in multiple of 2000.
Or you can call/email the hotel and ask them to reserve the booking. They will ask you to updt a creditcard (They wont charge you tho). And once you arrive the hotel, tell them you'll be settling via points and not to charge the card. they'll make a note of the same. andfinally when checking out, ask them to redeem points for all charges (stay, food, taxi etc). That way you wont have to pay a dime from your pocket. I did this while staying in IBIS Chennai and worked perfectly fine.

There should be Movenpick Colombo (stayed 2 nights Jan 2024). If it’s not showing up then either it’s full or no longer a part of the Accor chain. That’s a shame actually.
They upgraded me to the suite for both nights 😁
