Need Credit Cards Against FD

Need some suggestions for credit cards which can be issued against FD to build cibil of my son who just turned 18. Once he gets a card after 6-12 months, Will probably get more cards through C2C basis.
What are some of the best card that can be issued against FD. Any bank would do !

I would say go for IDFC Wow(easiest card as you don’t have to open bank account & visit branch)/BOB
both of these are reported as unsecured.
Not sure but I think SBI cards are also reported as unsecured.
HDFC, Kotak, ICICI reports as secured.

Which card of BOB is FD based ? And has good rewards aswell ?

OR just go for a basic card like BOB Easy Rupay you’ll get it LTF.

Are you sure about HDFC reporting as ‘secured’? I was thinking of getting a secured Infinia but won’t do it if it is reported as secured. I have plenty of good unsecured cards with good limits and don’t want to get a secured entry on CIBIL.

Thanks for all the recommendation, got IDFC Wow FD based credit card for 50K limit back in July. Now I need some advice for FD based cards in Au and Yes Bank .. Any basic card would do, just want to create a minimal fd for availing their offers. Also any good federal credit cards out there with or without FD.

Federal Bank cc are ltf, so you apply it.
*only 1cc is allowed so if you got federal bank cc , you will not get scapia cc

Try AU if you are in their serviceable pin code.

For 18 year old customer bank only provide pre approved offers do not apply your own your cc application will be rejected by banks
If you have any relationship with bank you can give a try but in offline way
