Just a query, say I placed some orders of value 6000(and earn 1800 points based on 9X accelerated reward points calculation) and this is the first order of the month on SmartBuy, and then return the product due to some issue, yes the reward points will be clawed back, but will this reduce the monthly limit of accelerated points on smartbuy from 15000 to 13200? Or will it still hold as 15K?

1) Earn 15K... cancel 3k ...so rewards will be 12K ...so u can still earn 3k accelerated rewards on new order

2) Earn 15K...place 3K order ...and then cancel earlier 5k order...u will end up with 10k only...coz u won't get Accelerated above 15K...but your accelerated 15K can be reversed on cancellation


So only place order after your rewards show less than 15K balance in netbanking portal

With 10x accelerated rewards, spending of Rs 50,100/- will max out the monthly limit of 15K RP. You will receive 1670 base RP(1x) and 15000 accelerated RP(9x) (actual 15030 but capped to 15K due to max limit)

I talked to hdfc, and they said trxn month will be consider for extra 5x (apart from 1x and 4x)

But someone posted in some thread where hdfc gave in writing that credit month will be considered lol.

and then someone posted that this extra 5x is exclusive of any capping as per his statement he checked

so I have no clue whom to trust.

Anyways a question for everyone here. I am thinking of buying more gold but ofc I am out of infinia limit.

I have 2 more cards. SBI Cashback and HDFC Swiggy.

I guess I have to do this via either gift cards or via smartbuy.

Cashback card best chance is with maximizer but they are out of stock for myntra gv's.

Now, if I goahead and use swiggy card. I guess I can spend 30k to get 5% aka 1500 back.

Can I do this on smartbuy platform? seems they have 1k gv's of myntra currently and I am eager to buy. What is the mcc code of smartbuy?

Even if maximizer's myntra gv's were available, what is the limit, how many gv's I can buy? and maximizer will give 4% back and sbi cashback card will give 5% back, so 9%, and hdfc swiggy can give 10% and hdfc debit card can also give 5%?? I am guessing 400 is cap for millenia dc?

I also have imperia platinum mastercard debit card under wifey, so that can be used too.

Also is the 5% limit upto 1000 for other cards be like 1000 on each eligible card? Or like as a total of all cards?

extra 5x will also be counted towards the transaction month only. I had maxed out during march sale expecting that remaining 5x will come in June. I have not received that 5x yet. So for all accelerated RP will be counted in transaction month only, and thats how HDFC keeps track of it (SmartBuy_May25_Bonus_5X_RP_)

If this was the case, then either you won't get any accelerated RP or get full 10x RP. I don't think HDFC will give you 5x RP for non-eligible transactions (if only they could find out).
In all, likelihood, these guys would have maxed out without realizing.
