I bought 7g gold with 66k myntra gv's, I have received base for this but haven't even received 4x for 31st yet.

Then I bought 5g on 2nd June directly via myntra and took the risk. Trxn hasn't settled so haven't even gotten base pts yet.

Statement generates on 5th, let's see how this goes.

Either one of the order might get cancelled if calculation doesn't come right.

Got the 4x remaining for the 66k myntra gv's.

Got the base 1x for 5g bought on 2nd June.

15k is the limit monthly for bonus right.

So Let's say for example I have gotten 14k bonus already this month.

Now I buy a myntra GV for 10k. I would receive 1320 bonus right?

So 14k+1320, that's 15320. Now, that's going above the cap. So will I receive only 1k bonus for the myntra GV as I reached cap or the whole bonus will be cancelled and I won't receive any bonus coz I was going above the cap?

Yes..thats true. Accelarated rewards Pts will be capped at 15K per calendar month.

You will get whatever is remaining, so 1k, 320 will be forfeited. Also saw a post above that 4x points and 5x points are credited at different times, so possible that 5x will be used from different calendar month's quota

You will receive 1K and anything above 15K will be forfeited (in your case, 320 will be forfeited out of 1320).

I have made excel sheet for every trxn. So when I got 10,305, i calculated the total bonus for recent trxn + base for 2 day old trxn, hence reached conclusion coz it was EXACTLY 10305 which comes the total of bonus for gv's worth 66k + base for recent trxn of 47695.

Well as per t&c, electronics are excluded. I am quite certain you will get but there's 100% risk hdfc can reverse if they want.

So here's the revert from HDFC on the RPs capping query

Query:

1. Will the base 5x reward points posted in June 2025 be considered under the monthly cap of Reward Points for June 2025?
2. Will the additional 5x reward points, if posted later (e.g., in September 2025), be counted towards the June 2025 cap or the September 2025 cap?

Thank you for reaching out. To clarify, the base 5X reward points posted in June 2025 will count towards the monthly cap of June 2025. The additional 5X reward points, if credited later in September 2025, will be considered under the monthly cap for September 2025.

Even if you get 5x, that can get reversed too. Both the regular bonus and promo extra 5% bonus too. Just saying. Chances of that happening is less but again, it's all upto hdfc.

wanted to check, where did you see 10305 ?

see the right side of the screenshot I posted. My earlier infinia bal was 16041. New bal today was 26346. So 26346-16041 = 10305.

Now That 10305 if you see on the left, I did 6 10k trxns, one 6k trxn all on hdfc gyftr. I already got base pts for those trxns, only 4x bonus was remaining.

So 1320 pts for 6 trxns is 7920 + 800 pts for 6k trxn (all 4x), and base pts 1585 for 47695 trxn.

Hence 7920+800+1585 = 10305.

I am yet to receive 4x for 47695 trxn and 5x extra promo for the same which will be posted prolly next month I guess.

Ideally there's a SMS that comes to primary holders number for all Gyftr and Smartbuy txns , 3-4 days after the txn date like below:
"Reward Points Credited: xxx To HDFC Bank Credit Card xxxx On 27/MAY/2025 Towards SmartBuy_May25_Bonus_5X_RP_.........."

Do let us know if you get it for the 47695 one
