How did you know that credit team was not happy with the low net salary? Did you check with someone or RM? Or, was it visible in the tracking link?

My RM was keeping things transparent.

Let me tell you apart from Salaries and Self Employed there is third case (Self Employed + Salaried Class). So at the end of the day income matters for shortlisting profile. Banks need HNI, so you fall into that category with all the additional perks you are getting. So your profile was considered.

Yes lot depends on RM and his willingness to help.

Limit displayed during application might not be approved always. Either more or less will be approved, seen in many cases.

Yes apart from net salary , my RM convinced creditors with other perks like ESOP and other deductions I had opted . My RM claims that he monthly processes more than 100 cards . So he knows the game very well ! Thanks

And bank person didn't ask me to change it as well even a single time..
