Move from HDFC Imperia to HSBC Premier ?? - Query & Discussion

I have a salary account with HDFC.

I am planning to move from HDFC Imperia to HSBC premier?

Does it make sense, advantage, disadvantage? What will I lose?

Also, whats the best way to open HSBC premier account?

do they at least offer best in class forex rates that it makes sense to use them to send/receive money? or do they only offer instant fee free transfer that we can easily make up by sending money to/from a PSB that offers much better rates?

They offer instant fee free transfers from foreign HSBC account to INR account. However, the exchange spread is much worse than 3rd party apps. Doesn't worth it unless you need money immediately in an emergency.

wtf is the point of their account then lmao. I was looking at Australian HSBC Premier and then getting it here as well but I'm better off simply sending the money to SBI from my daily account in Australia than to deal with HSBC in both places.
